WHAT'S NEW? (9/19/08)

New movie scripts are a bit lean these days, so you're just gonna have to settle for a television script. I didn't create this situation -- I'm just dealin' with it, as Mr. Pink so eloquently put it.

J.J. Abrams has created such glorious wonders as Lost And Alias, but he also has the dubious distinction of having penned Regarding Henry. You know, I've had a full 17 years to forgive him for that particular atrocity.

I simply can't do it.

His latest is the Fox show Fringe, and the screenplay to the pilot episode has turned up online.

So bust open a box of Ritz crackers and check out the script J.J. Abrams' Fringe pilot over yonder, and hopefully something like Benjamin Button or Revolutionary Road will turn up before long.
